TSINGTAO SUMMER CAMPAIGN – TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. General

1.1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these Terms and Conditions of Entry.
1.2. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
1.3. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and other materials relating to the promotion, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

2. Eligibility

2.1. Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older, as of the date of entry, (Eligible Entrants).
2.2. Employees and immediate families of Ettason Pty Ltd (the Promoter), and its associated agencies and companies connected with this promotion, are ineligible to enter.

3. Promoter

3.1. The Promoter is Ettason Pty Ltd (ABN 47 002 837 390) of 2A Birmingham Avenue, Villawood, NSW 2163.

4. Promotional Period

4.1. The promotion commences at 00:01 AEST on 01/10/2025 and closes at 23:59 AEST on 31/12/2025.

5. How to Enter

5.1. To enter, Eligible Entrants must:
a) Purchase a case of specially marked Tsingtao beer from participating retailers (including Dan Murphy’s, BWS, Liquorland, First Choice, and independent liquor stores) during the Promotional Period (Eligible Product Purchase);
b) Visit the competition website (as indicated on the promotional packaging);
c) Enter the unique code found inside the case of beer and submit all required contact details;
d) Accept these Terms and Conditions.

5.2. Entrants must retain their original proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) to validate entry.

6. Entry Limits

6.1. One (1) entry per Eligible Product Purchase.
6.2. Entries must be submitted in the entrant’s own name.
6.3. Sharing proof of purchase across multiple entrants is strictly prohibited. All such entries will be invalidated.

7. Prize Details

7.1. Total Prize Pool

The total prize pool is valued at up to AUD $9,600 (excluding GST).

7.2. Grand Prize (Total Estimated Value: AUD $7,200)

  • Two (2) grand prize winners, each with one (1) guest:
    • Return economy flights from Australia to Qingdao, China for the Qingdao International Beer Festival, widely known as the “Asian Oktoberfest”. (estimated $1,500 pp x 4 = $6,000);
    • 3 nights’ accommodation in two double rooms (estimated $200/room/night x 2 rooms x 3 nights = $1,200).

  • Travel to occur in July or August 2026, subject to flight and festival availability.

  • “Asian Oktoberfest” is a commonly used nickname referring to the Qingdao International Beer Festival. The Promoter is not affiliated with or endorsed by the event organisers.

  • Grand prize is subject to:
    • All Grand Prize winners and their nominated companions are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid passports, visas, travel insurance (including coverage for COVID-19), and any required vaccinations or travel documentation necessary for travel to China. The Promoter accepts no liability for any costs, damages, or missed opportunities due to failure to obtain such documentation or meet travel requirements. If a winner or companion is unable to travel for any reason, including but not limited to denial of visa or failure to meet entry requirements into China, the prize (or any part thereof) will be forfeited, and no compensation will be provided.
    • In the event that the Qingdao International Beer Festival is cancelled, postponed, or rendered inaccessible due to unforeseen circumstances (including force majeure, pandemics, travel restrictions, or government regulations), the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Grand Prize with a prize of equal or greater value or to reschedule prize fulfilment. The Promoter is not responsible for any loss or costs incurred by winners as a result.

7.3. Weekly Prizes (Total Estimated Value: AUD $2,400)

  • Twelve (12) Tsingtao “Mystery Boxes” awarded to one (1) winner each week:
    • Each valued at $200 and containing a random assortment of Tsingtao merchandise (e.g., cap, T-shirt, tote bag, beer mug).

8. Prize Draws and Winner Notification

8.1. Weekly Prize Draws: Conducted every Friday from 10 October to 26 December 2025 at 11:00 AEST at the Promoter’s address.
8.2. Grand Prize Draw: Held on 23 January 2026 at 11:00 AEST at the Promoter’s address. All entrants including winners from the weekly draws will be included in the draw for the top prize.
8.3. Redraws (if required): Held on 10 February 2026 at 11:00 AEST at the Promoter’s address to reallocate unclaimed or returned prizes. Winners of the grand prize are to be provided a minimum of fourteen (14) days to claim their prize before it is foregone.
8.4. Winners will be notified by email within seven (7) days of both major draw and redraw. Winner details will be published on the competition website within thirty (30) days of both major draw and redraw, if required (last name, first initial, and postcode only).

9. Prize Fulfilment

9.1. Weekly prizes will be dispatched within 28 business days of the respective draw.
9.2. Grand prize travel arrangements will be finalised between July and August 2026.

10. Validity and Verification

10.1. Proof of purchase must be retained and produced upon request.
10.2. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine whether an entrant has breached these Terms & Conditions. If an entrant is found to have breached any entry requirements or conditions (including submitting invalid, incomplete or misleading information), the entrant may be disqualified.
10.3 If such an entrant is awarded a prize, they must immediately return it to the Promoter upon request.
10.4 The Promoter may request any documentation it deems necessary to verify an entrant’s eligibility or compliance. Failure to provide such documentation upon request may result in disqualification and an immediate redraw.

11. Responsible Drinking

11.1. The Promoter encourages the responsible consumption of alcohol. For health advice and drinking guidelines, visit: NHMRC Alcohol Guidelines
11.2. Participation in this promotion is subject to compliance with all applicable liquor laws and regulations.

12. Privacy

12.1. Entrants’ personal information will be collected and stored by Ettason Pty Ltd for marketing and promotional purposes.
12.2. All entries and any associated intellectual property become the property of the Promoter.

13. Publicity and Intellectual Property

13.1. Winners and their guests may be required to participate in promotional activity, including interviews, photography and video.
13.2. The Promoter reserves a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use such content in all media worldwide.

14. General Conditions

14.1. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash (except where stated).
14.2. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage arising from prize use, delivery delays, or incorrect details provided by entrants.
14.3. Entrants are responsible for any tax implications that may arise from prize winnings.

15. Disqualification and Technical Issues

15.1. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries or entrants that:
• Use third-party services to enter;
• Submit incorrect or false information;
• Are deemed to have breached these Terms and Conditions.

15.2. The Promoter takes no responsibility for:
• Late, lost, or misdirected entries;
• Technical failures or unauthorised interference with the entry process.

15.3. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.

16. Legal Compliance

16.1. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (CCA), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia ("Non-Excludable Guarantees").
16.2. All decisions of the Promoter are final and binding, subject to regulatory approval.
